Stewarts Law Client Awarded £8 million Compensation

Stewarts Law client Danny Thacker has this week received a settlement worth £8 million at the High Court in London.

Mr Thacker, a keen motorcyclist, was thrown from the back of a motorbike in an accident in October 2000. He sustained a severe brain injury and spent three years in hospital receiving treatment with sustained periods in intensive care.

The settlement provides Danny with a lump sum of £1.3 million and annual payments of £236,424 for the rest of his life. This will enable the Thacker family, who have faced care costs of up to £5,000 a week, to provide Danny with the level of care he now requires.
