STEWARTS LAW PUT NICHE INTO LITIGATION

Hot on the heels of major new lateral hires in Divorce, Stewarts Law fulfil a long held ambition to establish a commercial litigation team, specialising in banking litigation. Clive Zietman, previously with Manches LLP, has joined Stewarts Law to fulfil this brief.

Banking litigation, in one form or another, has long been a specialist area for Clive. He was recently reported as being one of the few litigators in London, with the requisite expertise, who had no difficulty in suing banks. At a time, when the pool of lawyers available to act against banks is shrinking, this is good news for Stewarts Law. Research shows that, currently, only four of the top 30 law firms would not be conflicted out of acting against the major UK clearing banks.
