Air India Express Flight 812

Stewarts Law is investigating the circumstances of this tragic accident.

On 22 May 2010, a Boeing 737-8HG (Registration VT-AXV) operated by Air India Express, performing Flight IX-812 from Dubai, United Arab Emirates to Mangalore International Airport, India, overran Runway 24 on landing. After touching down the aircraft continued through the airport's perimeter fence and dropped down a ravine. The aircraft was carrying 160 passengers and 6 crew. There were 8 survivors.
