Airblue Flight 202

Stewarts Law is investigating the circumstances of this tragic accident.

On 28 July 2010, Airblue Flight ABQ202, an Airbus A321-200 departed Karachi International Airport, Pakistan (KHI) at 07:50 local time, and was due to arrive at Islamabad Benazir Bhutto International Airport (ISB), near Islamabad, Pakistan, at 09:45 local time. The aircraft was carrying 146 passengers and 6 crew.

An airline official has stated that the pilots did not send any emergency signals prior to the crash. Pakistani Interior Minister Rehman Malik stated that the aircraft was at 2,600 feet (790 m) as it approached Islamabad but went back up to 3,000 feet (910 m) before eventually crashing. There were no survivors.

The international legal team of Stewarts Law LLP, Wisner Law Firm (Illinois) and Young & Husain (Texas) have filed proceedings in Illinois, USA on behalf of a number of families who lost loved ones in the crash of Airblue Flight 202. The Complaint filed named the owner, the lessor and various corporations involved in the manufacture of the Airbus A321-231 which crashed on 28th July 2010 in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Additional Complaints are due to be filed in Alabama and in California against the airline Airblue and its management/owners shortly.
