A Leeds-based law firm has added a new member to its commercial litigation department. Alistair Kennedy, joins Stewarts Law from Walker Morris, where he qualified as a solicitor in 2006.
The 28-year-old, who lives near Leeds, said: "This is a really exciting move for me and I am looking forward to the challenge ahead.
"Stewarts Law has a formidable reputation for acting in high-profile commercial disputes, a recent example being Hull City FC's law suit against its former chairman.
"The firm has only recently opened the commercial litigation department in Leeds to give itself a presence in the business and commercial hub of the north. I'm delighted to be involved from an early stage and look forward to being part of its success."
Partner Jonathan Sinclair, who opened the Commercial Litigation department at the firm's offices in Bond Court last October, said: "We've got ambitious plans to expand the Leeds team quickly and Alistair is just what we are looking for. He is pro-active, dynamic and at a stage in his career when he can play a major role in our plans."
