Stewarts Law US LLP is affiliated with Stewarts Law LLP which is a practice of solicitors authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority in England.

Stewarts Law US LLP is not regulated or authorised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Its attorneys are regulated by the Bars of the States in which each attorney is licensed to practice, including New York and Delaware.

Complaints Procedure

Stewarts Law is committed to providing a high quality legal service to its clients. When something goes wrong we need you to tell us about it. This will help us improve our standards. If you have any problem with our service, the level of fees, or the way in which we have dealt with any matter (whether or not you are a client) please contact the lawyer dealing with the matter in the first instance by telephone, email or by post. We will then formally acknowledge your complaint and forward you a copy of our Complaints Handling Policy. Thereafter we will carefully and promptly investigate your complaint and revert to you. If for any reason we are unable to resolve your complaint you may take further action.

For complaints against Stewarts Law LLP: if you are not satisfied with the outcome of our investigation into your complaint, you may refer your complaint to an authorised alternative dispute resolution body, such as ProMediate (www.promediate.co.uk), or contact the Legal Ombudsman (PO Box 6806, Wolverhampton WV1 9WJ; UK telephone: 0300 555 0333; email: enquiries@legalombudsman.org.uk), which deals with complaints against lawyers registered in England and Wales. The time limit for referral of complaints to the Legal Ombudsman is ordinarily six months from our final response to your complaint, and one year from when you realised there was a concern. See www.legalombudsman.org.uk for further information. If your complaint is about your bill, you may also apply to the Court for an assessment of the bill under Part III of the Solicitors Act 1974. However if all or a part of the bill remains unpaid we may be entitled to charge interest. You may also be entitled to use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform to resolve your complaint (www.ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
