Ben specialises in claims for brain and spinal cord injury. Chambers notes that "Ben Townsend remains a standout lawyer in this office. He specialises in brain and spinal cord injuries." Ben has handled claims based upon a wide range of accidents, including road traffic accidents, accidents at work, public liability accidents and equestrian accidents. Ben also specialises in travel law claims. He recently represented a group of 13 claimants who were injured in a bus crash in Malaysia in 2006. This case is mentioned by Chambers in its review of the Travel Law team of Stewarts Law.
