Robert has a portfolio of catastrophic spinal injury and brain injury clinical negligence claims. He has over the past five years undertaken a significant number of cauda equina claims achieving substantial damages awards for a traditionally under recognised class on injury. Robert currently acts for diverse range of clients and is one of the few leading individuals specialising in spinal cord injury.

Career
Robert trained at Collins Solicitors in Watford, a niche high street practice that was particularly recognised for acting for the victims of a number of major rail accidents. Upon qualification Robert joined Wansbrough Willey Hargrave, later Beachcroft Wansbrough, as a defendant clinical negligence solicitor. Robert joined Stewarts Law in 2001 and became a partner in 2007.
Robert has acted in significant spinal injury cases including the leading cauda equina case of Oakes v Neinninger & Others.
Personal
Robert is a keen sailor competing in the 2009 RORC offshore series and currently in the Solent. He has also taken part in the Manches Cup Sailing Regatta attended by many top law firms.
