Stewarts Law Adds Divorce Heavy-Hitter from Manches

Stewarts Law, the UK and US-based litigation-only law firm, has boosted its family and divorce team with the addition of high-profile divorce lawyer Helen Ward as a partner.

Ward is known for representing the wife in the famous Charman divorce case and securing her a record-breaking £48 million ($78 million) award - the highest determined by a UK court to date.

Stewarts' family and divorce team was formed six years ago and is now 30-strong. While the firm may have its roots in personal injury litigation, the recruitment of Ward from Manches is a strong signal that it means to make its mark on the high net worth divorce arena in the UK too.
