Stewarts Law continues to expand its Antitrust Litigation department

01 March 2012

Stewarts Law, the UK's largest litigation only law firm continues to expand its Antitrust Litigation department in London following the appointment of Scott Campbell who joins the firm as a Partner.

Before his appointment Scott worked at Hausfeld & Co where he specialised in competition litigation. Earlier in his career he worked at Norton Rose in both London and Brussels and Latham & Watkins in London. Scott has extensive experience in a wide range of complex multi-jurisdictional disputes arising out of infringements of EU and UK competition law. He has successfully negotiated multimillion pound settlements in cartel damages claims.

The Antitrust Litigation department at Stewarts Law mainly focuses on competition litigation including the resolution of compensation issues that arise as a result of competition infringements. The team has substantial experience in conducting cases in the European Court of Justice as well as in the UK courts and are acting for a number of major FTSE 100 and 250 businesses.

Partner Jonathan Sinclair, Head of Antitrust Litigation commented: "I am very pleased to welcome Scott to our team. The department has expanded rapidly and Scott, with his breadth of experience in EU and UK competition law, will be a welcome addition."

Scott Campbell said of his appointment: "I am delighted to be joining Stewarts Law, which is a forward thinking, innovative and dynamic firm. In particular I am looking forward to continuing the challenge of ensuring that industries which have fallen victim to anti-competitive behaviour are suitably compensated."

Scott's arrival follows that of Tristan Feunteun who joined the Antitrust Litigation department as a solicitor in January 2012.
