Stewarts Law Foundation boosts Crypt’s 80 campaign appeal

The Stewarts Law Foundation, a charitable fund established by the partners of Stewarts Law, has given St George's Crypt a massive boost in reaching its target of raising £80,000 in its 80th year by making a donation of £20,000. The charity, situated in central Leeds, helps homeless and disadvantaged people in Leeds and throughout Yorkshire.

Chris Fields, CEO of St George's Crypt, said, "We are absolutely delighted to learn of this wonderful donation which means so much to St George's Crypt. These are challenging times, and the commitment of The Stewarts Law Foundation will not only bring so many benefits to our clients but also pushes us further towards the target of £80,000 for our 80 Campaign."

The Crypt not only meets immediate needs such as food and shelter but also provides long terms support by helping people find solutions to their problems, whether homelessness, unemployment or addiction."

The Crypt launched the 80 campaign in October last year to mark its 80th Anniversary. It was set up to raise £80,000 of new funding to take St George's Crypt into new areas of work in the next few years.

St George's Crypt in Leeds is a Christian charity which has been working to providing hope and support for the hundreds who access the charity's services every week since the founder Don Robins first opened the doors in 1930 and welcomed people into the Crypt.
