Stewarts Law, the UK's largest litigation-only law firm, has recruited two more solicitors into its highly-regarded commercial litigation team in Leeds.

Tom Matusiak, a Solicitor Advocate, is to join Stewarts Law as an Associate in the New Year. Tom trained and worked at Herbert Smith for 6 years before joining Shepherd & Wedderburn's London office.

In addition, Stuart Carson recently joined Stewarts Law as an Assistant Solicitor on 7 November 2011. Stuart trained at Andrew Jackson before working in-house for Suez GDF in Leeds.

Stewarts Law's commercial litigation team in Leeds was launched 2 years ago with the recruitment of Jonathan Sinclair who was formerly firmwide Head of Commercial Litigation at Eversheds. Since then, the team has steadily grown and now comprises 10 fee earners.

Stewarts Law is unique amongst law firms in Yorkshire: a conflict-free litigation-only law firm specialising in high value, complex disputes across a range of practice areas. The Commercial Litigation deals with a wide range of major commercial disputes including on behalf of a number of FTSE 100 and 250 businesses. The conflict-free nature of the firm has for example seen Stewarts Law rapidly become the firm of choice for disputes against banks and other financial institutions.

Jonathan Sinclair, Head of Commercial Litigation in Leeds, said:

"We are delighted to welcome Tom and Stuart to our commercial litigation team in Leeds. We anticipate further growth in the near future as demand for our unique offering continues to increase."
