- Advising the Indian branch of a multi-national Bank as a claimant in its action to recover sums advanced to various defaulting borrowers under English law governed facility agreements.
- Advising four Indian/international banks as Claimants in relation to enforcement actions before the English High Court against an Indian telecoms company.
- Representing an Indian owner and operator of a commodities and currencies derivative exchange in the English High Court relating to enforcement actions arising out of a London seated arbitration in which our clients were successful.

International Arbitration

Key experience includes:
- Representing an Indian multinational oil and gas company and its international subsidiary in two oil and gas related arbitrations against of an African state (UNCITRAL, Sudanese law, London seat).
- Acting for an Indian multinational oil and gas company and its international subsidiary against the Government of an African state (UNCITRAL, Sudanese law, Dubai seat).
- Advising one of India’s largest construction conglomerates on an ICC arbitration case seated in London pertaining to a dispute over an EPC contract executed in Oman (UNCITRAL, English law, London seat).
- Advising an Indian manufacturer in a dispute with a Polish engineering company concerning a joint venture for the manufacturing of hydraulic oil systems (UNCITRAL, Indian Law, New Delhi seat).
- Acting for an Indian airline in relation to a dispute between various shareholders concerning alleged breaches of a shareholder’s agreement. (LCIA, Indian law, New Delhi seat).
- Representing an Indian pharmaceutical company against a European company arising out of a sale and purchase agreement (LCIA, English law, London seat).
- Advising an international rice producer in three separate LCIA arbitrations following the breach of a rice supply agreement and alleged breaches of trademark licences and noncompete obligations (LCIA, Indian Law, London seat).
- Representing an Indian engineering company (specialising in the manufacturing of high chromium wear, corrosion abrasion resistant castings used in the cement, mining and thermal power generation industries), and their majority shareholder, (ICC, Indian law, London seat).
- Advising an Indian wind energy company against a German entity relating to a sale and purchase agreement (ICC, English law, London seat).
- Advising an Indian water manufacturer against a Canadian pharmaceutical distributer relating to an exclusive distribution agreement (ICC, Indian law, London seat).
- Acting for an Indian water manufacturer against a Qatari contractor relating to contracts in relation to two water treatment plants (ICC, Qatari law, London seat).
Though we are unable to advise on Indian law matters due to restrictions imposed on foreign law firms by the Bar Council of India, our team is highly experienced in acting for Indian clients on a global scale and for parties with interests in India.
