Today The Lawyer magazine released the results of its Hot 100 Lawyers for 2016. Paul Paxton has been listed for his key role in heading up the most high-profile negligence claim of the last decade following his representation of individuals injured in the rollercoaster crash at Alton Towers during 2015.

This annual list is one of the legal industry’s highest accolades and is drawn from top class lawyers in litigation, finance, energy, real estate, life sciences and regulation.

The Lawyer cited Paul’s expert handling of the extraordinary media interest whilst working to get compensatory interim payments as quickly as possible for the five young people seriously injured. They identified the contribution of the legal process itself to the rehabilitation of those injured.

Paul was particularly commended for the way in which he protected the clients and their families from press intrusion.
