Stewarts are assisting families who have lost their loved ones on AirAsia Flight QZ8501 from Surabaya to Singapore.

AirAsia Flight QZ8501 tragically went missing on Sunday 28th December after the pilot had requested a change of route to avoid bad weather.

On Tuesday 30th December the search and rescue team has discovered bodies and items from the missing AirAsia QZ8501 plane, an Airbus A320-200, in the sea off the coast of Indonesia.

Head of Aviation, James Healy-Pratt comments:

“We have a long track record of helping families from Indonesia in air disasters, including Adam Air, Garuda, Lion Air and Malaysia MH370 and MH17.

We are now assisting families from AirAsia, and we require Tony Fernandes and his team to prove that AirAsia is not another low cost, low safety airline.

Our thoughts are with all the families at this difficult time.”
