Millie is an associate in the Divorce and Family department, with experience advising high net worth clients across all aspects of family law.
Expertise
Millie advises high net worth clients across all areas of family law, including complex financial settlements, child arrangements, Family Law Act matters, and pre-nuptial agreements. She also advises clients in relation to Schedule I matters, where there are complex private children disputes and/or cases with criminal or domestic abuse aspects.
Many of Millie’s cases involve complex business, trust or asset structures, and she has expertise with complex remuneration structures arising from clients with professional roles, or their spouses. Millie also has a particular interest in the use of arbitration within family law proceedings.
Career
Millie read English Literature and Language at University College London (UCL), before completing the GDL and the LPC at BPP University. She initially joined Stewarts as a paralegal in 2021, before undertaking her training contract and qualifying in October 2025.
Experience
- Acted for the applicant husband in contentious divorce and financial remedy proceedings with disclosure issues involving multiple complex trust structures through to a successful outcome at an arbitrated final hearing.
- Acted for the applicant mother in a Schedule I matter where an outcome was able to be achieved by negotiation, without commencing court proceedings.
- Acted for the respondent husband in financial remedy proceedings where his remuneration structure was complex, and involving multiple cross-border assets and complex issues of post-separation accrual.
Personal
In her spare time, Millie enjoys training and competing her horse, as well as dog walking and reading.
