Jade specialises in commercial disputes, with a focus on asset recovery, civil fraud and insolvency litigation. She has experience advising liquidators, banks and high-net-worth individuals in complex claims, often containing an international element. This includes obtaining worldwide freezing orders and handling multi-jurisdictional enforcement proceedings. Jade is adept at handling a variety of interim application, including jurisdictional challenges. She operates across multiple jurisdictions, including the US, Puerto Rico, Guernsey, the EU and the UAE.

Experience

  • Representing a Guernsey liquidator in the recovery of multi-million-pound loans.
  • Advising a private bank in successfully obtaining a worldwide freezing order in a high-value debt claim before the High Court.
  • Acting for the liquidator of an insolvent bank in a set-off dispute involving international financial institutions.
  • Representing a group of investors and investment advisors in fraud-related litigation connected to a failed bond scheme.
  • Assisting in a multi-million-pound High Court dispute concerning contract enforcement and unjust enrichment, related to the UK’s largest solar park project.

Career

Jade joined Stewarts in 2025 upon qualification. She previously completed her training at iLaw, a boutique firm specialising in commercial litigation and asset recovery, while undertaking her SQE. Prior to her legal career, Jade attended the University of Bristol and obtained a first class LLB Law degree.

Personal

Jade loves traveling and is currently learning Italian. She has a passion for art and enjoys visiting art fairs around the world. In her free time, she stays active through running, pilates and ballet.
