Georgina has experience in complex and high value litigation and acted on one of The Lawyer’s Top 20 of 2025 cases. She regularly advises insolvency practitioners, appointed on corporate and personal insolvency processes, with particular expertise in claims under the Insolvency Act 1986.
Experience
- Acted for the joint liquidators of the seventh defendant in Credit Suisse SICAV SIF & Anr v SoftBank Group Corp. & Ors (2025), ranked as one of the top 20 cases of 2025 by The Lawyer.
- Advised a European-headquartered bank on the appointment of fixed charge receivers over a high value property in London.
- Advised joint trustees in bankruptcy appointed over a multi-jurisdictional bankruptcy estate on issues relating to antecedent transactions.
Career
Georgina joined Stewarts in January 2026. She trained at Charles Russell Speechlys LLP and qualified into their Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency team in August 2022.
Georgina read American Studies at University of Sussex, including a year abroad at University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill) before completing the GDL and LPC at University of Law, achieving a distinction in both.

Georgina enjoys a variety of hobbies including cooking, running and Pilates.
