Emily’s caseload comprises a wide range of high-value personal injury cases, including brain injury, spinal injury, amputations, chronic pain and injuries to minors.

She has managed diverse matters, ranging from day one investigations and site visits through to litigated matters in the county courts and High Court.

Emily also enjoys pro bono work and has mentored and collaborated with a displaced Ukrainian lawyer to support their acclimatisation to the British legal profession.

 

Experience

  • Acted in multiple personal injury cases simultaneously, valued at circa £3 million.
  • Prepared for and attended trials, court hearings, CCMCs, joint settlement meetings, coroners’ inquests and conferences with experts and counsel.

Career

Before qualifying as a lawyer, Emily obtained a bachelor’s degree in History from King’s College London where she was awarded Full Colours in recognition of her achievements and contribution to KCLSU and the King’s College London community. She then completed the LLM Postgraduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School, London. Emily trained at Kennedys, where she qualified in 2023 into their Serious and Catastrophic Loss team.

Personal

Emily enjoys travelling and going to the theatre. She rows regularly on the Thames, competes in local regattas and also likes to cycle
