We are proud to announce that Stewarts has joined the limb loss legal panel for amputee support charity The Limbless Association. The panel includes leading law firms in the UK specialising in personal injury and clinical negligence cases where catastrophic injury and amputation has occurred.
For those who have sustained an amputation, access to expert legal advice at the earliest possible stage is vital. The Limbless Association’s panel makes this possible, providing free initial consultations to help patients understand if they have a claim. We are delighted to support the vital work carried out by the Limbless Association.
Chris Smith, partner in our Personal Injury team, and Amy Heath, partner in our Clinical Negligence team, will act as the lead partners in the panel relationship.
As members of the panel we will educate the limb loss community to understand their rights, entitlements and legal processes. Our goal is to support the charity and develop a mutual understanding of issues affecting those experiencing limb loss, identifying and delivering outcomes focused solutions. We will collaboratively develop, deliver and promote opportunities for engagement with the limb loss community.
