Stewarts has partnered with the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) to offer a legal dispute management service to current and former members.
As an Official Partner Member Benefits provider to the PFA, Stewarts will be available to offer current and former members rapid access to a dedicated legal dispute management service that helps individuals navigate challenging, high-stakes situations and resolve legal disputes discreetly and effectively.
Current and former members will be entitled to an initial consultation with Stewarts as part of their PFA benefits.
Stewarts is able to provide players with advice on problems relating to injuries, employment, divorce and family issues, tax disputes and media-related issues.
Barrington Atkins, leading Sports Disputes lawyer at Stewarts comments:
“This partnership is a natural fit. We’re here to help players resolve disputes relating to their personal and professional lives. We know player wellbeing is very much at the heart of what the PFA does, and we aim to help players tackle any issues before they start to impact their wellbeing.”
James King, PFA General Counsel, said:
“We’re pleased to be able to partner with Stewarts to offer PFA members and former members access to respected professional advice and guidance on a range of legal dispute issues.
“We are committed to providing members and former members with a wide range of benefits, including professional services they may need both during and after their playing career.”
