Expertise

Aoife joined Stewarts as a paralegal in the Knowledge team. During her time in the team, she mainly provided support to the injury departments as well as the wider firm. She has varied experience in undertaking legal research and utilising a variety of legal research tools.

Aoife helped to maintain the firm’s know-how database and has a wide experience of drafting documents to be used as templates by the firm’s injury teams. Aoife has also assisted the firm’s lawyers with drafting consultation responses, external articles and presentations.

Experience

Aoife has assisted on a number of important developments, including:

  • Insurance and funding projects with the injury departments.
  • The update to the Personal Injury Discount Rate in January 2025.
  • The government’s consultation on the Package Travel Regulations.

Aoife has also presented to the injury departments on the topic of vulnerable parties.

Career

Aoife studied English at the University of Cambridge. After her undergraduate degree, she completed the PGDL and LLM at BPP University (Holborn) and passed the SQE1 in January 2024.

Prior to joining Stewarts in 2024, Aoife worked in the education sector in pastoral and administrative support.

Aoife co-authored this article following her work supporting the Stewarts’ response and drafting the response for the Forum of Complex Injury Solicitors’ (FOCIS).

Personal

Aoife loves cooking for her family and friends and travel, having taking trips across Iraq, India and Central America. She enjoys spending her weekends exploring London with her cocker spaniel.
