Expertise
Aoife joined Stewarts as a paralegal in the Knowledge team. During her time in the team, she primarily provided support to the injury departments and assisted the firm’s lawyers with drafting consultation responses, external articles and presentations.
She has worked on a wide range of complex and high-value personal injury matters arising from road traffic incidents and incidents at work. Here experience includes drafting schedules of loss and witness statements, instructing medico-legal experts, drafting legal correspondence, issuing claims and conducting legal research. She has also attended settlement meetings, High Court proceedings, criminal court hearings and client meetings with instructed solicitors and counsel.
Career
Aoife studied English at the University of Cambridge. After her undergraduate degree, she completed the PGDL and LLM at BPP University (Holborn) and passed the SQE1 in January 2024.
Prior to joining Stewarts in 2024, she worked in the education sector in pastoral and administrative support.
Publications and Media
Aoife co-authored this article following her work supporting the Stewarts’ response and drafted the consultation response for the Forum of Complex Injury Solicitors’ (FOCIS).
Personal
Aoife loves cooking for her family and friends, and enjoys travelling, having taken trips across Iraq, India and Central America. She also likes spending her weekends exploring London with her cocker spaniel.
