Ben has worked on a variety of complex, high-value commercial disputes, with particular experience working on financial sector litigation and Consumer Credit Act claims.
During his time in the Employment department, Ben acted on various aspects of Employment Tribunal litigation, focusing on matters which involved whistleblowing, discrimination and unfair dismissal.
Ben has experience working on group actions in Commercial Litigation, including acting for over 200 claimants seeking damages for misrepresentation under s75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974. He also acted for a large group of institutional investors bringing compensation claims pursuant to s90A of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
Ben studied Law at the University of Leeds before completing the Legal Practice Course, alongside an MSc in Law and Business, at the University of Law. Ben worked as a paralegal in Stewarts’ Commercial Litigation and Employment departments before commencing his training contract in 2020.
Ben is a keen sportsman and regularly plays both 5-a-side and 11-a-side football. Otherwise, he can be found hacking his way around golf courses or watching cricket at the Oval.
