Expertise
Francesca has gained significant experience through her training contract having spent her first seat in the Trust and Probate disputes department working on a broad range of estate disputes and trust-related claims, and her second seat in the Clinical Negligence sports team, representing footballers and other sports professionals who had suffered career-ending injury as a result of negligence. Francesca returned to Commercial Litigation, where she was also a paralegal, for her third seat working on some of the most high profile securities litigation cases.
Experience
Commercial Litigation
Francesca has worked on a variety of disputes, including working for a large group of institutional investors bringing compensation claims pursuant to s90A of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
Financial Crime Investigations
During her time in Financial Crime Investigations, Francesca worked on matters involving fraudulently altered documents, reviewing and advising on the application of Interpol rules and assisting on a Financial Conduct Authority enquiry into financial mismanagement.
Career
Francesca studied Geography with Economics before completing her Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course in London. Francesca started working at Stewarts in 2019 as a paralegal in the Commercial Litigation and Financial Crime Investigations department before commencing her training contract in 2021.
