Hebe has advised on policies across industries including aviation, energy, construction and financial services. Hebe has also advised clients on a diverse range of policies including credit risk, event cancellation, professional indemnity and aviation contingent and possessed policies.

Hebe has experience of both High Court litigation and arbitration under LCIA, ARIAS and DIFC-LCIA rules.

In addition to her work in private practice, Hebe has been on secondment to the FINPRO Claims Team of a leading global insurance broker.


Hebe has acted for:

  • AerCap in $3.5 billion Commercial Court proceedings concerning aviation insurance claims for aircraft lost in Russia following the invasion of Ukraine;
  • the Financial Conduct Authority in relation to its test case regarding business interruption insurance cover following disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic;
  • a multi-national construction company in an ARIAS arbitration regarding cover under a professional indemnity insurance policy;
  • an insurer in an LCIA arbitration regarding cover under a credit risk insurance policy.


Hebe studied Classics at Cambridge University before completing the GDL and LPC at BPP. She trained at Herbert Smith Freehills, qualifying into the Insurance and Professional Risks team.  Hebe joined the Policyholder Disputes team at Stewarts in 2024.


When she isn’t spending time with family and friends, you can usually find Hebe either outside on a run, or on the sofa with an audiobook and tapestry or knitting project.
