Lucy has experience of a wide range of complex and high-value commercial disputes, including banking and financial sector litigation, contractual disputes, debt actions, insolvency litigation, Consumer Credit Act claims and professional negligence. She has represented various high-profile clients including companies, liquidators and high net worth individuals. Lucy has experience of both domestic and international litigation, and has been successful in securing pre-action relief for her clients including Norwich Pharmacal relief.


Lucy has assisted on a variety of cases both in the Chancery and Commercial Courts, including acting for mezzanine lenders resisting a non-consensual debt restructuring by senior lenders, and pursuing a damages claim against the Security Trustee, JPMorgan Europe Ltd in Saltri III Ltd -v- MD Mezzanine & others [2012] EWHC 3025 (Comm). She recently acted in a high-profile cross border insolvency claim with a value in excess of €500m.


Lucy graduated from University College London with a degree in Law and passed the Legal Practice Course with distinction. After joining Stewarts as a paralegal, Lucy completed a training contract with the firm and qualified in 2013.

Lucy has assisted with various lectures at conferences including freezing and search orders, mis-selling of financial products, third party liability in fraud and third party disclosure.

Lucy’s publications include Provisional Damages Awards; Exceptions to the Principle of Full & Final Settlement, co-authored with Julian Chamberlayne and published in the Journal of Personal Injury Law.
