Matters on which Tom has acted include assisting on a claim by a group of international investors in a multimillion pound dispute against a well known retailer and assisting a group of European investors in their dispute against a bank and a ratings agency in respect of investments in complex financial instruments. He was also responsible for running a contractual dispute claim brought by an individual regarding an investment in a money transfer business.
Tom has a wide range of experience in both the Chancery and Commercial Courts. He acts for both claimants and defendants in multimillion pound disputes and his work often involves multiple jurisdictions.
Tom worked for an MP and an MEP before starting work as a paralegal at Stewarts. He then trained at the firm before qualifying in 2015.
Tom is a member of the Junior Lawyers Division and the London Solicitors Litigation Association.
Tom enjoys reading, particularly the works of Robert Harris and other historical novelists. He has also recently tried to learn Japanese.
