Experience

Mark has played a significant role in the interchange fee cases against both MasterCard and Visa. He has also worked on follow-on damages actions relating to numerous cartels including cathode ray tubes (CRT), liquid crystal displays (LCD), power cables, refrigeration compressors and trucks. Additionally, he has assisted the legal team in relation to additional infringements in the financial services sector.

Prior to joining Stewarts, Mark worked at an economic consultancy and was involved in projects for both public institutions (including the European Commission, the European Parliament and the Financial Conduct Authority) and private clients.

Expertise

Mark has extensive experience assisting clients with claims resulting from antitrust infringements. He adds an additional dimension to the team with his experience of economic and econometric analysis. This also enables him to explain complex theoretical arguments to clients in relatively simple terms.

Career

Mark joined Stewarts in 2014. Prior to this, he worked as an economic consultant at London Economics, where he was employed for four years.

Mark has a BSc in Economics from University College London and an MSc in Financial Economics from Birkbeck College.

Personal

Mark enjoys spending time with his family and also playing and watching sports.
