Emma Holland and Lavinia Randall from our Trust and Probate Litigation team recently presented a webinar for LexisNexis, providing a roundup of the key cases and current issues in private client disputes in 2022.
The session is of interest to anyone working in the private client law sphere and covered cases including:
- Wong v Grandview (on which the Stewarts team acted in a trial before the Supreme Court of Bermuda and an appeal to the Privy Council);
- Reeves v Drew (the highest value probate dispute heard by the High Court in England);
- Guest v Guest (a long awaited decision on the appropriate remedy in proprietary estoppel); and
- Re the Poulton Family Trust (a significant offshore trust case involving issues of mental capacity).
