Stewarts is supporting the #NoLimits Group riding the HotChillee London to Paris 2018 bike ride in memory of Danny Turnbull, a partner at Stewarts who sadly passed away in 2017 following a long battle with cancer.

The #NoLimits Group was set up in memory of Danny by HotChillee after being approached by Danny’s wife. Personal Injury partner Danny sadly lost his battle with cancer in April 2017, he had been with Stewarts for 17 years joining as a paralegal in 2000. He was instrumental in opening up the London to Paris ride to hand-cyclists.

The ride from London to Paris will take place from Thursday 26 July to Sunday 29 July 2018 and will cover 100 miles per day for three consecutive days. 

Stewarts will be sponsoring a number of places for staff to join the #NoLimits Group, raising funds for The Back Up Trust and Cancer Research UK.

In 2012, a team of Stewarts’ partners and staff, including Danny on a hand-cycle, completed the ride raising funds for the National Spinal Injuries Centre at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. Ride organisers HotChilllee have put together the following video tribute to Danny showing clips of that ride.

The Back Up Trust is a charity that supports those affected by spinal cord injury, delivering a range of services to help build confidence and independence. It is a charity Stewarts has long supported and one for which Danny served as a Trustee and Chairman for a number of years.
