Charlie Thompson joins Stewarts as a Partner from Harbottle & Lewis. Charlie joins the Employment team led by Joseph Lappin, who took over as Head of Employment at Stewarts in July 2019.
Charlie is an experienced employment lawyer with specialism in complex and high-value workplace disputes. He advises employers and employees on all aspects of employment law, but has particular expertise in senior recruitment, remuneration and exits, restrictive covenants, whistleblowing, and boardroom and shareholder disputes. He also has experience in dealing with mental health in the workplace particularly in issues following stress or overwork, bullying, harassment, discrimination and matters arising from #MeToo, and investigation of allegations of serious misconduct.
Charlie has spent nearly six years at Harbottle & Lewis. Prior to that he spent two years at an employment boutique. He qualified in 2012 after training at Lawrence Graham.
