Our speaker – Justen Bersin

Justen is a former City lawyer whose life changed dramatically following a catastrophic cycling collision in London that left him with paraplegia and a traumatic brain injury.

An experienced sailor, scuba diver and athlete, he has since returned to international travel and competitive para‑sailing, representing Great Britain at the European and World Sailing Para‑Inclusion Championships. Having rebuilt his life through extraordinary determination and specialist rehabilitation, as well as support from his devoted wife, he speaks powerfully about resilience, adaptability and redefining success after a life‑changing injury.

“We can’t affect the wind, but we can adjust the sails.”
