Mother of two receives £1.4m damages for clinical negligence for sepsis on termination of pregnancy

Esther specialises in catastrophic spinal and brain injury cases, and fatal claims arising from clinical negligence. Esther has specialised in clinical negligence cases since she qualified in 2013.
Esther has significant experience of acting in litigation for clients with catastrophic injuries. Esther acts in a variety of cases including: delays in diagnosing abscesses resulting in tetraplegia; orthopaedic injuries; injuries sustained during surgery; fatal accidents; birth injuries; delays in treating meningitis; and late diagnosis of cauda equina syndrome.
Esther also has experience in claims involving both clinical negligence and defective medical devices/pharmaceutical products.
Esther joined Stewarts in 2016, having previously worked as a solicitor at Irwin Mitchell. She trained at Leigh Day. Esther has a first class honours degree in History and obtained distinctions in both the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course.

Esther is a member of the Chambers and Partners Band 1 clinical negligence team in Leeds and is mentioned in Legal 500.
Esther enjoys travelling and yoga. She is a member of Arsenal Football Club and enjoys attending matches.
