Expertise
Francesca’s experience is primarily in high-value financial disputes, usually with an international element and which involve complex asset, trust and remuneration structures. She also works on cases involving pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, often in relation to the protection of family wealth and business interests.
Francesca also has experience in a wide range of children matters, including disagreements in relation to child arrangements, jurisdiction disputes and domestic and international relocation cases.
Francesca has experience of cases involving domestic abuse, including applications for non-molestation and occupation orders. She has also worked on family law cases which involve criminal law allegations.
Experience
Francesca’s previous experience includes:
- Representing a spouse in contested financial proceedings in the High Court involving offshore trust and corporate asset structures, requiring expert valuation and tax advice.
- Successfully obtaining an urgent non-molestation order for a vulnerable parent.
- Representing a spouse following a short marriage, with an international pre-nuptial agreement and significant pre-marital assets.
- Successfully helping clients resolve their issues using mediation or other means of dispute resolution, without the need for court involvement.
Career
Francesca graduated from Durham University in 2015 with first class honours and completed her training contract at Withers in London. She joined Stewarts in April 2020.

Francesca is a member of Resolution, and its junior branch YRes, which is a community of family lawyers who are committed to resolving issues in a constructive way.

Outside of work, Francesca is happiest by the sea, at home in Cornwall or somewhere warmer. She is a big Formula 1 fan and always has a good book on the go.
