Joe is experienced in complex and high-value commercial litigation and advising on contractual and other disputes, often involving complex financial products, issues of company law and international elements.
Matters on which Joe has acted include:
- The RBS Rights Issue Litigation, a £4bn claim described by The Lawyer as “perhaps the biggest banking case of the decade”
- A property development claim for in excess of £100m
- Acting for a State and its National Bank in claims relating to a Global Custody Agreement with an international bank
- Acting for clients in proceedings involving sovereign wealth funds
Joe joined Stewarts in 2009, before qualifying in 2012 and being promoted to associate in 2016. Joe has a first-class degree in Law and a master’s degree.
