Expertise

Lauren has advised on a number of complex multimillion pound cases as a result of clients sustaining traumatic brain injuries, spinal injuries, brachial plexus injuries and limb amputations.

Lauren understands the effect that life-changing injuries have on clients. She enjoys making a difference to a client’s life by securing early access to rehabilitation and treatment. It is paramount that the client receives the right support and that this is focused on each individual client and their families. It is often the rehabilitation process that makes a material difference to a person’s life.

Lauren is privileged to act as part of each client’s crisis management team, helping to guide them through the claims process at what is often the most traumatic time in their and their family’s lives. Lauren enjoys being part of the client’s journey from the accident to achieving a compensation settlement. This process is both challenging and rewarding, and Lauren thrives on getting the best possible settlement for her clients.

Lauren also specialises in tragic fatal accident claims. She ensures that these are dealt with expeditiously and that the deceased’s dependants are fully compensated.

Experience

Lauren has dealt with cases involving multiple and complex orthopaedic injuries, limb amputations, brachial plexus injuries, spinal injuries, and severe brain injuries.

One of Lauren’s proudest achievements was securing damages of £750,000 for a motorcyclist who sustained a brain injury following a road traffic accident. The motorcyclist was unable to recall the incident and was initially blamed for the accident by the police and the other parties involved. The case went to a liability trial and settled at mediation just prior to being heard in the Court of Appeal. Whilst this is not the largest settlement Lauren has secured, this was a significant settlement for an individual who was initially blamed for the accident.
