Louise has a mixed practice background having gained experience acting for Claimants in relation to personal injury and clinical negligence claims, as well as over 14 years’ experience acting for Defendants in clinical negligence claims. Louise’s practice included high value, complex claims including matters before the Court of Appeal.

Experience

Louise’s practice included clinical negligence claims arising from varied medical practice including GP’s, rheumatology, plastic surgery, orthopaedic surgery, bariatric surgery, ophthalmology, psychiatry, general and colorectal surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery as well as general dentistry.

Career

Louise joined Stewarts in 2023 from MPS (Medical Protection Society). Louise qualified as a solicitor in 2000 and has considerable experience in clinical negligence/personal injury practice as well as experience gained from working as an ATE insurance underwriter.

Personal

Louise is a keen equestrian who enjoys training young horses and competing in local level dressage competitions, when time permits.
