Expertise

Lucie is experienced in acting for clients in employer’s liability, public liability, road traffic collisions and product liability injury claims. Lucie regularly deals with liability and quantum issues in catastrophic injury matters. She has detailed experience of issues surrounding CRU benefits, costs and funding.

Lucie assists on cases including spinal injury, burns injury, brain injury and amputation, as well as those involving severe orthopaedic or psychiatric injuries. These cases involve road traffic collisions, fatal accidents, occupiers/public liability and accidents at work.

Experience

Lucie has several years’ experience of advising both claimants and defendants in relation to litigated personal injury claims. She has particular interest in complex liability disputes, civil procedure and costs & funding.

Lucie also writes regularly on the topic of autonomous vehicles and e-scooters in the injury sphere.

Career

Lucie graduated with a degree in Law from the University of East Anglia, before working for Stewarts as a paralegal. She qualified as a solicitor in 2010. Prior to rejoining Stewarts in 2018, as an injury Knowledge Lawyer, Lucie worked for a global law firm advising clients on personal injury claims of varying levels of complexity.

Lucie joined the personal injury department at Stewarts in 2023.

Lucie enjoys family time as well as most sports. She is a keen hockey player, playing club hockey at weekends.
