Lucy Mills, Associate Personal Injury – Career story

Lucy specialises in claims involving brain injury, spinal injury, complex orthopaedic injuries and pain disorders. She regularly deals with fatal accident claims and cases involving multiple claimants. Lucy also acts for claimants who have sustained injury in the UK but live abroad.
Lucy was heavily involved in the successful settlement of claims brought on behalf of 20 claimants following a minibus accident. She also acted for a group of claimants from India who were injured in a road traffic accident in the UK.
Lucy trained at DLA Piper before joining Stewarts in 2010. She became a solicitor in the Personal Injury department in 2012.

Lucy is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. She is a Director and Trustee of the Second Chance Headway Centre in Wakefield.
Born and raised in Wales, Lucy is an accomplished musician. She enjoys reading legal fiction, Jodi Picoult being her favourite author. Her weekends are spent outdoors with her husband and their two sons.
