Matthew has vast experience in personal injury and clinical negligence costs, including drafting and negotiating complex bills of costs and Precedent H Budgets, including preparation of Points of Dispute and Replies. He attends and advocates at court and application hearings, including Costs and Case Management, protected party, fixed costs disputes and approval on additional liabilities.
Matthew also specialises in providing tailored advice to clients to maximise cost recovery on serious injury matters from the outset and throughout the claim to its conclusion.
Career
Matthew joined Stewarts in 2022 having worked previously at a national trade union law firm, Thompsons Solicitors, and a specialist military personal injury law firm, Hilary Meredith Solicitors, where he qualified as a solicitor in 2015.
Personal
Matthew enjoys spending time with his family and friends and partaking in long country walks with his dog. Matthew also enjoys golf, darts and football.
