Expertise
Rose-Marie advises on a broad spectrum of trust disputes, frequently involving offshore jurisdictions. Rose-Marie has experience litigating in the English Courts and internationally, including in Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Hong Kong, and the Bahamas.
Rose-Marie also has experience in resolving probate disputes, such as claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 and challenges to will validity. Rose-Marie similarly handles matters concerning loss of mental capacity and Court of Protection proceedings.
In addition, Rose-Marie has experience in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.
Experience
- Advising the executors of an estate in respect of an application for disclosure and a caveat entered.
- Acting for a claimant in making an Inheritance Act claim.
- Advising the trustees of a Cayman structure in relation to claims brought against the protector by the beneficiaries.
Career
Rose-Marie studied Justice and Law at American University, Washington DC before completing the GDL and LPC LLM at the University of Law. She joined Stewarts as a paralegal in September 2022 and qualified into the Trust and Probate team as an Associate in October 2025.
Personal
Rose-Marie was born and raised in Hong Kong and travels to Asia frequently. She enjoys being near the sea and is a qualified rescue scuba diver.
