Expertise
Sarah advises on all family law issues. Her experience is primarily in high-value, multi-jurisdictional financial proceedings, often involving family businesses, corporate structures and offshore trusts.
Sarah also specialises in international jurisdiction disputes, having acted in the following reported cases:
- for the husband in Mantegazza v Mantegazza[2017] EWHC 3811 (Fam) in respect of his successful application to stay the wife’s English divorce petition on the basis that Switzerland was the more appropriate forum.
- for the husband in Pierburg v Pierburg [2019] EWFC 24 in respect of his successful challenge to the jurisdiction of the English court to entertain the wife’s divorce petition on the basis that she was not domiciled, habitually resident or resident in England.
Career
Sarah studied Modern History at Worcester College, Oxford University. She joined Stewarts in September 2013, having completed a training contract at Manches.

Sarah is ranked by Chambers High Net Worth as an ‘Associate to Watch’. Described as “absolutely terrific” with “strong judgement”, she is credited in particular for her expertise in cross-jurisdiction work.
