Before joining Stewarts Law, Nicholas worked for many years gaining extensive experience in all areas of civil litigation, involved in several reported decisions and handling many high-profile cases. Since joining Stewarts Law he specialised in catastrophic brain, spinal cord and child injuries, including Erb's Palsy and DDH.
Member of AvMA Solicitors' Referral Panel;Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine;Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers;Member of the Pan European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers;Member of the Litigation Sub-Committee of the City of Westminster and Holborn Law Society.
Trained at David Lee & Co and qualifying in October 1979.
Recent high-profile cases include Masterman-Lister v Brutton & Co (establishing the test for mental incapacity), Blagrove v Dr Badat - £2m damages (failure to diagnose meningitis) and Darley-Jones v Dr Ling - £2.6m (anaesthetic "accident" in private hospital).
Educated at Dover College and Southampton University. Married with three children.
