Stewarts has achieved outstanding results in The Legal 500 UK solicitors’ guide published this week. Our lawyers were mentioned 103 times across 18 different areas, with 41 being ranked. The firm is recognised in 18 practice areas, seven of which are top-ranked.

Our Divorce and Family teams in London and Leeds both maintained their top rankings in the directory. The team is lauded for having “a large number of high-value cases due to the real strength and depth throughout its ranks”, and is described as “bursting with top-flight litigators of every persuasion”.

The top-ranked London and Leeds Clinical Negligence teams are praised for their work with the most complex cases involving spinal injuries, failures in mental health care leading to catastrophic injury, and paediatric cases.

Our top-ranked Commercial Litigation team in Leeds is praised as being “fiercely dedicated to their clients. They are strategic and often ahead of the market.” The London team is ranked for its premium litigation work this year and described as having a “’fearless, intelligent, tactical’ approach to bringing claims”.

The Commercial Litigation team also continues to be ranked for its banking litigation expertise, with clients stating the team “punches far above its weight in terms of quality of services and the talent it attracts in partners”.

The Fraud team is also ranked, with one source stating: “Stewarts are a highly devoted and determined practice with a clear sense of purpose.” Another says the team “compares very well with peers and is easy to recommend”.
