Daniel Wilmot has joined Stewarts as a partner within International Arbitration, joining head of department, Philippa Charles to make a team of eight.

Daniel is an arbitration specialist with extensive experience of advising in the oil and gas and technology sectors.  He has a particular expertise in disputes connected with the African continent and Middle Eastern region and has acted for corporates, investors, high-net-worth-individuals and state entities.  

Daniel also has experience of English court litigation, investment treaty arbitration and forms of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), including mediation and expert determination.

Daniel comments:

Daniel joins Stewarts from the international arbitration team at White & Case, where he spent a number of years.  Prior to that, Daniel spent over eight years in the commercial disputes team at Pinsent Masons.
