We are delighted to have received Highly Commended status within the shortlist for the ‘Campaign for Learning Impact Award for Supporting Business and Organisational Goals’, included as part of the Learning at Work Week Impact Awards 2024.

The Impact Awards were launched to celebrate bold, creative, and impactful campaigns by employers from across the UK, which champion and drive lifelong learning at work and development opportunities for employees. To be successful in this category, organisations had to demonstrate how their campaigns supported business and organisational goals.

Julia Wright, National Director at the Campaign for Learning, commented: “We are once again highly impressed by the standard of entries to the Learning at Work Week Impact Awards. As the world changes, particularly in technology, it’s crucial that people and organisations continue to build knowledge, skills and understanding so they can adapt, innovate and make the most of new opportunities. In a highly competitive field, the standout entries demonstrated how well-crafted and creative learning campaigns can successfully connect colleagues to the learning and skills they need to grow, supporting the whole organisation.”

Amber Allan, Head of Learning & Development at Stewarts, commented: “I’m absolutely delighted that the L&D team’s commitment to supporting the firm’s inclusion strategy through our Learning at Work Week programme has received such wonderful recognition.”

How we marked Learning at Work Week

Our Learning and Development Team put together a week on the theme of ‘Inclusion’, aiming to demonstrate the power learning has to bring teams together, to help us understand what inclusion means to individuals and the wider firm and to give people the opportunity to try something new.

We had over 160 people sign up to sessions ranging from learning to knit for our 2024 Charity of the Year Bliss, to shortcuts accessibility and fostering collaboration across generations in the workplace at Stewarts.

We would like to thank our external speakers and facilitators who also joined us for the week:

  • Lucy from Loop de Loop Studio
  • Cherry and Vanessa from Tea & Crafting
  • Megan Camacho from Leading Minds
  • Keith Warburton
