Punam’s clients include corporates, institutional investors and financial institutions, sovereign wealth funds and high net worth individuals.

She has worked on High Court, Court of Appeal, Privy Council and Supreme Court claims, including group claims, as well as international arbitration and mediation. Two of the cases she has worked on have been mentioned in The Lawyer’s Top 20 cases of 2020 and 2022.

  • Acting for a group of 350 individuals in respect of claims arising out of their investments in film schemes promoted and operated by the Ingenious group of companies
  • Advising a large African energy company against a consortium of lenders in ICC arbitration proceedings and related English court proceedings regarding $1bn+ loan arrangements
  • Advising a sophisticated cryptocurrency company against another high-profile crypto company in ad hoc arbitration proceedings relating to the proper contractual interpretation of a loan of Ethereum for an investment
