Punam has worked on multijurisdictional and group litigation in the High Court, Court of Appeal and Privy Council.
She has experience of working on high-value and complex litigation in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Tax Litigation departments.
Experience
- Acting for a financial institution in a dispute concerning the validity of corporate actions under the Cayman Islands sanctions regime
- Acting for the investment authority of Ras Al Khaimah (RAKIA) in a claim against a businessman for fraudulent misrepresentation, conspiracy and breach of contract and defending allegations of hacking and abuse of process
- Acting for a group of 350 individuals in respect of claims arising out of their investments in film schemes promoted and operated by the Ingenious group of companies
Career
Punam read English Language and Literature at King’s College London and the National University of Singapore before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law in London.
Personal
Punam enjoys travelling, having previously lived in Singapore. Staying athletic is a must, either by doing HIIT, skiing or dance competitions.
