In addition to advising on financial and children matters arising on the breakdown of a relationship, Rebecca advises unmarried parties in relation to cohabitation, property rights and financial claims made on behalf of children. As part of her children practice, she also has experience in obtaining declarations of parentage.
Rebecca’s cases often have an international element involving foreign jurisdictions or clients based or looking to move overseas. She has a particular interest in intra-UK family law, and is in the process of requalifying as a lawyer in Scotland.
Rebecca read Theology at the University of St Andrews before completing her legal studies at BPP in London. Having initially joined the firm as a paralegal, Rebecca trained with Stewarts and qualified into the Divorce and Family team in 2017.
