Stewarts was the winner in the Family Law category of this year’s Yorkshire Legal Awards, recognising the work of our Leeds Divorce and Family team. Celebrating their 20^th anniversary, the Awards took place on 10 October.

The judges commented: “We’re pleased to present the Family Law award to a winner who impressed the judges with the breadth of their work; their commitment to pro bono services; and their active involvement in local groups and charitable work.”

Head of Divorce Leeds Adrian Clossick, partner Lisette Dupre and senior associates Jenny Bowden and Sarah Harvey accepted the award for our team.

Launched in 2000, the Yorkshire Legal Awards bring together the region’s legal community to recognise and celebrate its many achievements. The categories cover everyone from the biggest corporate firms to leading barristers, from senior partners to rising stars, and the event itself is a black-tie affair. The awards are judged by a prestigious independent panel made up of experts from across the Yorkshire legal community.

This year our Commercial Litigation, Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence teams were also shortlisted in their respective categories. Our Injury teams took home the prize for their category in 2023.
